Finding Balance & Wholeness

The inner journey of finding peace is a uniquely personal and ongoing process. When we share our most vulnerable truths and make friends with the painful parts of our stories in a safe and supportive container, profound shifts in our sense of well-being are possible.

Therapy can help you make meaning of your experiences, help you reconnect to your inner healing wisdom when you feel lost or overwhelmed, and support you through tough times whether you are experiencing the loss of a loved one, career or life transitions, resentment about things that never happened or needs that weren’t met, transforming unhealthy habits, and/or building self-compassion and confidence.

Grief Tending

Inspired by my own personal grief and the work of Malidoma Somé and Francis Weller, I believe there is a sacred alchemy between grief and joy and that when we truly honor our suffering, we increase our compassion for others and strengthen our relationship to wholehearted living. Often what brings us to therapy is our unmetabolized pain in the form of depression and anxiety. I believe that grief is not a problem that requires fixing, but an inevitable part of the human experience; a sacred calling for a compassionate witness, support and acknowledgement.
